There is only one difference between the bright & shiny people you compare yourself to — the ones who seem to know who they are, who are creating things that are meaningful, who seem to always reach their goals, and have a positive influence on the world around them. The risk of being judged for the pursuit of their path.
They do not have more light than you. They are not superhuman in any sense that they don’t have insecurities, fears, or doubts about who they are, what they are doing, or how they move through life. They have simply taken a few more steps than you. Not fearlessly, but despite their anxieties and doubts. Not with any life hack or magic affirmation, but by walking straight through the fire to become more and more of who they want to be. They choose their fullest expression despite the risks. Deliberately. Repeatedly. Consistently.
