Do you think any flower or plant spends its time doubting its ability to make its way from the soil to the light; to blossom into everything it was made for? No. It is in the seeds nature to grow — to make its way from the soil into the light, to find its way into the vibrant soft potential it was destined for.
The seed does not judge or shame itself for the time it takes to unfurl in the soil, push its way through the weight of the dirt, sprout up into the light and grow into it’s own intricate beauty. I wonder if you could trust your own process the same?
You are a seed. Bloom.
Tending to a garden is also pulling weeds, respecting the growth that has come and gone. Preparing the garden, clearing the space to hold the blooms + fruitfulness in its future. That preparation is just as intentional and luscious as witnessing the garden actually grow.
This is knowing and trusting and loving the process. This is a mirror for what is possible when it comes to creating our lives and dreams with intention and care and gentleness, with peace and trust in our hearts.
Sometimes things will beg to bloom in your garden that look completely unfamiliar to the petals you’ve come to know and love about yourself. Tend to those parts of your garden, still. Let them bloom. Water them, care for them as equally as you would the familiar parts of you, ask them what they need to thrive. Let your garden grow colors you’ve not yet seen grow before.
The garden has never desired to tame its wildness. I wonder if you could gift yourself that freedom too?
Your life is a garden. Tend to it.
Get out there and make some Good Light.
